Exploring the Beit Hamikdash: A Virtual Escape Room Adventure

At Jewish Online School, learning is always engaging, interactive, and meaningful. Our boys classes had an incredible experience participating in a Beit Hamikdash-themed virtual escape room. The event was thoughtfully designed to combine fun with immersive learning, leaving students both inspired and excited.

The escape room, led by Rabbi Jacobs, was crafted especially for the Boys Day School classes and all After School Talmidim classes. The students embarked on a virtual journey through different parts of the Beit Hamikdash, facing riddles and challenges at every turn. Each puzzle required not just critical thinking but also an understanding of the significance and history of the Beit Hamikdash.

As the boys navigated through the various chambers and courtyards, they encountered thought-provoking discussions about the Beit Hamikdash and its relevance to the current month. This immersive experience was organized in connection with Asara B'Teves, the solemn day that marks the beginning of the siege leading to the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash.

The activity not only provided an exciting and interactive learning environment but also deepened the students' appreciation for Jewish history and the significance of the Beit Hamikdash in our lives. It was truly inspiring to see the students so engaged, connecting past events to their present learning in such a meaningful way.
