Welcome to Our Hebrew School Program!
At our Jewish online school, we offer a vibrant Hebrew School experience with two tracks: Thursdays and Sundays. Each track includes three Judaic studies classes and multiple Hebrew reading classes. With 35 students, reading classes are level-based, while Judaic studies are age-based, ensuring personalized learning. We follow a 4-year curriculum cycle, and this year we're focusing on Brachos, Kosher, and Shabbos.
First Term: Exploring Brachos
In the first term, students learned about Brachos (Blessings)—what bracha to say over different foods and the importance of understanding where and how food is grown. To review, we made it fun with a Jeopardy game, where students competed and reinforced their knowledge in an interactive way.
Now: Learning About Kosher
We’re now diving into the Kosher unit, where students are discovering kosher laws, their significance, and how they impact Jewish life. The lessons are hands-on, making complex concepts accessible and engaging for children.
Fun and Interactive Hebrew Reading
Hebrew reading is an exciting part of our program, too. We keep it fun and interactive through games, incentives, and engaging activities that help children build their reading skills in an enjoyable way.
Engaging Lessons for All
Every lesson is designed to be interactive and hands-on, using PowerPoints and creative activities to keep students engaged. Teachers ensure that lessons are not only educational but also exciting, creating an environment where every child feels involved.
At our Hebrew School, we believe in making Jewish learning enjoyable and meaningful. We're proud of the progress our students are making and look forward to many more exciting learning experiences ahead!
