Dr. Joyce Dweck is a New York and New Jersey State licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of children & adolescents. Dr. Dweck obtained her doctorate degree in School-Clinical Child Psychology from Pace University, in New York City. She completed her post-doctoral training as a fellow at Pediatric Assessment Learning & Support (PALS), a private neuropsychological assessment practice. Dr. Dweck conducts neuropsychological evaluations for children & adolescents to aid in the detection of learning and behavioral difficulties that may impair functioning in school or at home. Dr. Dweck has worked with children presenting with a variety of difficulties and diagnoses including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, language & communication delays, learning & memory difficulties, intellectual impairment, Specific Learning Disabilities (reading, writing, math), Autism Spectrum Disorders or social pragmatic challenges, & social/emotional distress (e.g. anxiety, depression). All evaluations include individualized recommendations, appropriate resources, & referrals to target areas of concern and maximize potential. A review of results & comprehensive feedback - outlining findings & reviewing recommendations - is provided at the conclusion of the evaluation.
